An orchestra is a unique cultural entity. Bringing together 40+ people to play a piece of music is no small feat and the sound is unparallelled in our modern world. Sponsoring an event makes sure that live orchestral music can continue in this day and age. ECHO brings music to thousands of people every year who otherwise might never hear an orchestra live.
New programming is one of the things that makes ECHO stand out. Your orchestra collaborates with artists that operate outside of the traditional orchestral realm. Music today stretches and your financial support pays for the synergy that is created when an orchestra meets a Latin combo or a breakdancer or a poet.
Your support helps our orchestra financially- over half of our budget comes from donations. This money supports the musicians you see on stage. These are people who have trained to play at this level and whose love of music brings them back each season. You can meet their families in our audience.

YOUTH AWARDS & SCHOLARSHIPS

We are committed to mentoring and supporting the next generation of musicians and composers. Our sponsors have met that commitment with funds for awards and scholarships that directly fund youth development.
Thanks to our generous donors, our summer strings camp was able to offer a scholarship to all eligible students. This ensures that their musical education continued regardless of family finances.
There are opportunities to expand this support through our youth competition programs.
